The Harpsichord that came to live at our house.



At the end of the old year a new member joined our little group. Through no fault of our own we acquired a Sabathil and Son harpsichord. This little beauty is 6' long and takes up a bit of room in our tiny house (love it!).
I've always enjoyed the music of Bach and encourage my students to play and enjoy his many works. It amazes me that the man got so much done with 20 children growing up under his feet!
The music of one of his sons,Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, is available for your enjoyment.

    Cooool! Can't wait to see it at the end of the month. Perhaps a trio of two flutes and one harpsicord is in the future?

    That could be fun. I have a winter song cycle I wrote last year that calls for 2 female voices, flute and keyboard/harpsichord...need one more voice...any ideas?
